Pot Plants do need a little more care than those in the open ground but they give you much more scope when it comes to arranging your garden. Nearly anything can be grown in a pot from bedding plants to herbs and vegetables. The most important point to note when planting is that you have to use good compost. Drainage is also key, most pots come with pre-drilled holes but you also need to help the water reach these holes by adding drainage material like stones or broken pots to the bottom.
